ELEMENTS OF YOUR EVENT

FOOD, SERVICE, RENTALS: Caterer Pricing In Three Parts


No matter which caterer you go with, remember, these are always built into the price, but sometimes

it just looks different.

 

 

FOOD~ All of our menus are customized to create a meal that is unique to your event.  The price will vary based on format you choose, For example, you will need more staff to handle a seated, individually plated dinner with table service, compared to a buffet style dinner.

 

BAR-  We have a full service liquor license and insurance and can provide you with a full bar or just wine and beer bar.  Our apologies but we cannot also serve alcohol that you provide.

 

ATTENDANTS ~Servers and bartenders start at $38 per hour for their services. In general, we suggest one server per 18 guests for buffet service or cocktail party style event, and one server per 15 guests for a plated sit down dinner or family style dinner.  The servers we work with are truly amazing - professional, efficient and friendly. They are people you will enjoy having at your event. 

*And remember, you may not need any servers, especially if food is just dropped off, or picked up.

 

RENTALS ~High end disposable plates, flatware and napkins can be provided, starting at $6-8pp.  Fine china, silverware, glassware, linens, etc. are generally rented, depending on the size of your event. Formal rentals start at approx. $18-$38 per person, depending on how elaborate your event/selections. Rentals offer options to style your event with colors, textures and décor. From specialty chairs, farm tables, stunning glassware and china, anything is possible!

 


THE FIRST STEP - Let's see if your date is available. Dates may be booked up to one year in advance, so plan early, but never think twice about calling for a last minute event!  Send us an email or give us a call at 516-625-2566.  If we don't answer, we are probably catering, so leave a detailed message including your event date, where you prefer the event will be held, and the number of guests you estimate, and we will get back to you.  

TO BOOK -  We require a non-refundable deposit to hold your date.  Once we make initial contact, we can either meet in person, do a phone consult, or even communicate via email. We will come up with a menu together - customized for you - that meets your needs. We are happy to meet at your home or office, if preferred.

In the mean time, look at our Sample Menus for food and menu styles and ideas. Remember that these menus are customizable, and are designed simply to show examples of menus. We can change the actual menu items. Using these as guides, you can start establishing your budget and overall feel of the event.
